3-Day Refresh Results!


So before I get to my results, let me share something...

Even though I've done the Refresh a few times before and new what to expect, I ALWAYS learn something each time. What did I learn this time around?

Hunger:

- A person will NOT starve on this Refresh

- Whole, unprocessed food is more filling and flavourful with SIMPLE seasonings

- It's ok to be a little hungry

- Sticking to the schedule is important to avoid "hunger"

Meal Planning:

- I literally did ZERO meal planning for this. For instance, I went to the grocery store on my way to work at 6:00 am and picked up all veggies and fruits.

- ALL you need in your kitchen for this is veggies and fruits.

- Do NOT over-complicate the meals. Keep it simple!

Blender

- I'm fortunate that I have a Ninja at work (I bought a new Ninja and brought my old one to work) because I prefer my shakes blended like a milkshake with ice and water. So it helps if you can do that too.

- Invest in a GOOD blender!! Cheap ones seriously ruin it but not mixing thoroughly or breaking down the ice cubes (or fruit) enough

Vegetarian / Vegan

- Each time I do this, I'm closer and closer to having more meatless days and I LOVE that idea! I love all animals...except earwigs, pine or spruce bugs and house flies. They can suck it.

This time around I did NOT take before / after pics. My focus this time around was weight and my gut health.

I'm happy to say that I've lost 6.6 lbs. Of course it's mostly water...you're consuming a lot and a lot of it is flushing through your system, etc. I did NOT go to the washroom more than usual. I am less bloated! My one pair of pants that were "snug" last week, had a little give in them today--YAY.

I ordered another Refresh to do the middle of December! BEFORE vacation time and after my last week of fitness classes! I'm already looking forward to it!
